Not sure why some negative reviews but it’s now under a new name and probably new owner. The food was excellent. Had the Cuttlefish and cheese and sausage board. The owner also gave me a sample plate of the Portuguese snails, which were also great! Perfect place to eat in Porto Covo!

This restaurant is now called Ti Joaquim. The food is excellent, we had veal stew and secrets (black pork) and pineapple, as we couldn't decide which to have we shared both dishes and they were served separately as recommended. The staff were first class and nothing was too much trouble. Two main courses and a bottle of wine came to €37. Highly recommend.

Very good food. Fast service and the prices are fair. If you want, you can choose your fish that you want to eat at the counter. Everything is very fresh. Porto Covo is outstanding and if you have a little bit luck there is beautiful live music all over this piece of heaven.

I also agree with the last reviewers. It is now under a new name. We had shrimps and fish, and both of the dishes were great. The dessert was also really good. We highly recommend this restaurant!

The best customer service I’ve ever experienced in this town! The server helped me out with the menu very well and recommended nice dishes for me.
I was super late, kitchen was closing and yet they gave me a table and were super kind. Feijoada was wonderful and they're wine was delightful

Very tasty salads and choko frito 😊👌
Really great place for daily dinner, one of my very best restaurant experiences! Simple food was real tasty, portion in fair size, price very normal and service by three sweet black girls was very pleasant. This is the kinda place I'd like to eat every evening.
Good service, great food and fair prices. Visited on a busy day and the service went really well, the waiters were fast and nice and the food was delicious. Will visit again.
